The New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation was proud to accompany Chesapeake Middle School students to the Monster Jams Truck Show at the Hampton Coliseum on Saturday, March 7, 2026.  Mr. Al Alexander, Dr. Brian Cuffie, Mr. Linward Fields, and Mr. Tim Jones served as mentors to students from Crestwood Middle School, Hugo Owens Middle School, Oscar Smith Middle School, and Indian River Middle School.  The students were selected based upon their academic performance, good behavior, and excellent character.  The students enjoyed the limousine-style van to Hampton, VA.  Moreover, the students were excited about the vehicles, the music, and the souvenirs.  Chairman Alexander stated to the students and their parents that there will be future field trips to a baseball game and Black History guest speakers.  Special thanks to committee members Mr. Al Alexander, Col. William Bennett, Dr. Brian Cuffie, and Mr. Tim Jones for planning the event.
