The Foundation goals are:

• Provide scholarships to deserving and qualified high school students to attend institutions of higher education, support mentoring and services for elementary and secondary students, and support educational and cultural enrichment programs for students.
• Ensure fiscal integrity in all programs, services and events.
• Sponsor educational forums to describe, analyze, and seek solutions to problems impacting students, especially African American students, in our schools and communities
• Conduct seminars focused on strengthening African American families.
• Support needy students by providing school supplies and clothing to increase their opportunities for success in school.
• Develop new and strengthen existing partnerships with similar organizations, churches, community organization, corporations, school system, state and federal government to provide more resources for education, training, services and programs to support and improve education in Chesapeake.
• To meet these goals, The New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors pledge to hold itself accountable to the citizens of Chesapeake and our partners to use resources entrusted to them with prudence and fiscal integrity.
