The Annual Black Male Achievement and Scholarship Breakfast is a key event presented by The New Chesapeake Men for Progress Education Foundation, Inc. This breakfast serves as a platform to celebrate and recognize the academic excellence, hard work, and perseverance of African American male high school graduates from Chesapeake Public Schools. It’s also where the Foundation awards scholarships to these outstanding young men to help support their pursuit of higher education. Additionally, the event recognizes promising middle school students through the Dr. Darnell Johnson Distinguished Scholar Award.
